INFINITY BOUDOIR | FAQ
What type of outfits should I bring to my shoot?
Bring a minimum of 3 outfits to your boudoir photo shoot as well as a couple extra just in case. It is very important that you’ve tried on all of your outfits prior to your shoot to make sure they fit properly. Bring whatever you will feel comfortable and sexy in. Depending on your goal for the shoot, you can bring outfits that are super racy and sexy, classy, sporty, casual, or whatever you feel is going to help you achieve your desired outcome. It is not uncommon for women to bring cocktail dresses, corsets, matching bra and panty sets, garters, body suits, slips, etc. Let your beautiful personality shine through and don’t be afraid to call me with questions or send me pictures of outfits you are considering. I am here to help every step of the way! Don’t forget your heels, 4″ or higher work best and thinking outside of the box is encouraged.
Should I bring extra outfits?
Absolutely! You never know when there will be a wardrobe malfunction or something may not fit as well as it did when you first tried it on. It’s always good to have other options.
Where should I shop for outfits?
This is a matter of personal taste. Many women love Victoria Secret. A personal favorite of mine is Fredrick’s of Hollywood and Forever 21. Of course there are several smaller boutique lingerie shops throughout the valley that have great selections like Secrets, Fascinations, Lingerie Superstores and Ana’s Creations. If you are looking to shop online, try Agent Provocateur, Wish and Yandy. If buying online, ensure proper fitting before your shoot.
Can I bring whats already in my closet?
Sure, but shopping is part of the fun, especially if this is a secret surprise for your partner. Who doesn’t love to shop for lingerie and shoes, imagining every step of the way the look on your partner’s face when you present them with your absolutely gorgeous, jaw dropping photos wearing something they’ve only seen you wearing in their dreams! But of course if these photos are just for you, it’s still fun to shop and play dress up, after all, we’re girls and we love to feel beautiful!
Besides outfits, what else should I bring?
Feel free to bring any accessories you might want to showcase in your photos. You may also bring your favorite shade of lipstick or your preferred foundation if your skin is sensitive. Also, don’t forget your heels, 4” or higher is best. Standard colors are nude, black and red but if you’d like to showcase a gorgeous pair of zebra print shoes you just purchased, bring them. I want your personality to shine through! Personal items are always great to bring as well, a specific item of your partner’s clothing or jewelry given as a special gift. Again, thinking outside of the box encouraged!
How will I know how to pose?
I will be there coaching you every step of the way. You do not need to have modeling experience. Just relax, have fun and let me guide you.
How long will the entire shoot take?
Most shoots will last 1 to 3 hours depending on number of outfits and package choice.
Should I bring make-up?
Yes, if you have a favorite shade of lipstick you’d like the make-up artist to use or if your skin is sensitive to certain types of make-up. All sessions include make-up by a professional make-up artist, therefore you do not have to bring make-up if you don’t have any allergies or preferences. Remember to come with a clean, moisturized face.
Can I do my own make-up or have someone I know and trust do it for me?
I want you to be 100% happy with all of your images which is why all sessions include make-up by a professional make-up artist who knows how to specifically apply make-up and contour for photography. Additionally, sometimes things come up and if you are running short on time and unable to allocate enough time to apply and perfect your own make-up, it will show in the photographs. Let us take that burden from you to ensure your make-up is professionally done and gorgeous for your boudoir photo shoot.
